As the first commercial adopter of Short Tandem Repeat (STR) analysis, IDENTIGENE has been using STR technology for DNA identification since 1993. Our forensic team includes seasoned professionals with many years of experience performing forensic case work.

Our Forensic DNA Laboratory Director, Dr. Laura Gahn, has more than 15 years of experience in Molecular Biology, is a DNA Laboratory Assessor and a court-qualified expert witness in DNA testing.

Our testing processes for forensic cases are streamlined, substantially automated and fast. Our industry-leading turnaround time for blood and semen detection is seven to ten days and most forensic case work is processed in just three to four weeks.
