When will I know my DNA test results, and what does my Status mean?
When you log in to your account, you’ll see a list of your tests under the section labeled ‘My Tests’. We’ll display the status of your test in the gray bar below your test information. Find your status below to learn more about your test’s status.
Waiting for Samples.
This means the order has been placed, but we are still waiting for all DNA test samples and/or payment to arrive at the laboratory. All DNA test samples must arrive at the lab and the order must be paid in full before testing can begin.
This means we’ve received all samples needed to begin the paternity testing. If payment has been made in full, testing should begin shortly.
This means that there is a problem with the DNA test samples or information we’ve received. For example, the sample may have arrived damaged or we might be missing some important information on your order form. Call us at 1-888-404-4363, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm and we’ll help you fix the problem so we can move your case forward.
This means that all samples have arrived at the lab, the case has been paid in full, and we are in the process of testing your samples. Typically, results will be available online in just 2 days from the time all samples (and payment) arrive at the lab and we start processing your test.
This means laboratory processing has completed and our team of genetic scientists are reviewing the data and preparing your report. Results are typically released just a few hours after this step is complete (though it may take longer).
This means we’ve finished testing your DNA test samples and reviewing the data and that your results are now available. Click the ‘View Results’ link (or click your Test Number) to see and print results.
