We don’t offer canine (dog) DNA testing nor is it something we plan to offer.
This DNA test is supposed to determine the breed (or combination of breeds) of your dog.

I have tested every on eof my AKC bulldogs. The tests are widely availabel, through AKC,and are very reliable. They can tell youthe breed of dog, but in amixed breed, will only tell the major component from what I understand. In a full breed dog, it can tell youthelineage , so if there is any ???? about whether your dog is actually form certainparents, it will tel you.
AKC requires DNA testing in certain cases: when a male has a certain (high) number of litters within one year, whent here is the possibility of two males who serviced the same female to determine the father of the puppies, and for certain AI cases.
Happy to help! :)
Thanks for the comments on the topic. Still confused as to why so many people get what they believe are inaccurate results. Any additional thoughts out there?
