Democrat Melody McCray Miller believes that every child born in the state of Kansas should undergo a paternity test to verify the biological father, no matter the relationship status of the parents. The state representative proposes the bill to help fathers confidently know if the child is biologically theirs. Paternity tests may help eliminate paternity fraud for fathers who may not realize they aren’t the biological father.
