Everyday on my daily commute to work I sit and wait for a train in front of my local Rite-Aid®. Today as I sat there I pondered what it may be like for a customer of ours to purchase a DNA Paternity Test Kit off the shelf there or at one of thousands of other locations across the United States. It’s a difficult to imagine what a person may be thinking or feeling as they roam the isles of their local pharmacy or store searching for the DNA Testing Kit.
Because I want to understand this experience I am hoping that a few customers out there read this blog and either comment with their stories if they are comfortable or if they want to be more private they can email me at kstyer@identigene.com.
If you are thinking about buying a DNA Paternity test you can comment as well with your feelings or thoughts that have occured to you. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Nice post. It seems that this kind of test might make a man feel uncomfortable when looking for a kit in the local pharmacy. Thanks for sharing.

Dear “Online prescription refills”,
If a person is uncomfortable purchasing a DNA paternity test in a drugstore, they can purchase one on the internet. A customer can purchase a kit directly from Identigene or they can visit walmart.com, walgreens.com or cvs.com for a kit.

Michelle,
The legal guardian or parent of the child must give consent for the child to be swabbed. For a paternity test, we need DNA (cheek cells) from alleged father and child. If the father is unable to be swabbed, you can contact our client support staff and they can guide you through all of your options with other relationship DNA tests to try and determine paternity without the father’s DNA. The number is 888-404-4363. Thank you.
